Until recently I wasn't aware of a single surviving copy of the first Journal of Theoretical Archaeology. Finally, after a mammoth clear-out of boxes (and boxes) of old papers and crap in my house, a pristine copy emerged from the bottom of heap of archaeology magazines, along with its matching 3-and-a half-inch disk, and I'm able to reproduce my article here.

To be honest, my later articles on the same subject are much better, and my comments on other people's work are a bit stupid. You live and learn.
